Blend readers introduce 38 different adjacent consonants (or blends). These readers have been written using a strictly controlled vocabulary. Text uses only decodable regular words (according to a week by week progression) along with tricky words, which are frequently used but not decodable.
All sets include 6 x 12 fiction readers and 6 x 12 non-fiction readers, each with colourful illustrations. Images show a selection of books available in the sets.
